Notice Regarding Mobile Battery Use

Dear Guests,

Thank you for staying at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka.

Recently, there have been reports in Japan and overseas of accidents such as smoke or fire caused by mobile batteries (power banks). For the safety of all guests, please follow these guidelines when using them in your room:
 

  • Do not charge mobile batteries while you are away from your room.
  • Avoid charging in direct sunlight (e.g., near windows) or on flammable surfaces such as beds or bedding.
  • While charging, stay nearby so you can check your device regularly.

If, during room cleaning, charging is in progress or the battery is found to be very hot, staff may move it for safety reasons.
